Identity Theft using disgarded Prescription Containers

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Delaware State Police has published a public notice informing citizens to use due caution in disposal of prescription bags and bottles. It appears there is a drug scam going on throughout the state where persons are rummaging through the trash looking for bags and bottles and using the information to illegally acquire prescription medications for resale on the black market. Please use due caution in safeguarding your information.
